Terms of Use
Last updated: February 13, 2026 Effective date: February 13, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReelMeld's website, desktop software, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). "ReelMeld", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the ReelMeld operator.
By accessing, downloading, installing, purchasing, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
These Terms apply to:
- The ReelMeld website and related web pages.
- Downloaded desktop software and updates.
- Licensing, billing, support, and account-related operations tied to ReelMeld.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
3. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ReelMeld software for lawful purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights.
4. Restrictions
You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code.
- Circumvent licensing checks, technical protections, or security controls.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
- Use the Services in violation of law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use and User Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the Services, including the content you access and your compliance with applicable laws and third-party platform rules.
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other legal rights.
- Access or distribute content without required authorization.
- Engage in fraud, abuse, or other unlawful activity.
6. Third-Party Platforms and Services
The Services may interoperate with third-party websites, providers, and tools. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, terms, content, or policy changes.
Your use of third-party services is governed by those third parties' terms and policies.
7. Purchases, Pricing, Taxes, and Billing
Certain features may require payment. Pricing, plan details, and entitlement scope are described on our website, checkout pages, or order documentation and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You are responsible for applicable taxes unless stated otherwise by law. We may update pricing and commercial terms prospectively.
8. Refund Policy
ReelMeld applies a conditional refund policy, reviewed case-by-case, to balance user fairness and abuse prevention.
8.1 General refund framework
- Refund requests are evaluated based on the specific order context, such as reproducible technical failure, material mismatch with product description, or clear accidental purchase.
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days.
- Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method (for example, card, PayPal, or other supported method).
8.2 Typical non-refundable scenarios
Refund requests may be denied in cases such as:
- Extended active use after purchase.
- Account or license restrictions caused by abuse or Terms violations.
- Repeated refund requests indicating misuse.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
9. Effect of Refund on License and Access
If a refund is approved, the associated license may be suspended or deactivated.
When a refunded license is suspended or deactivated:
- Future online license validation may fail.
- Access to paid features may be limited or disabled.
- Local credentials or entitlement caches may be cleared during later validation checks.
Temporary offline continuation, if any, does not create a permanent right to continue using refunded paid entitlements.
10. Trials, Promotions, and Abuse Controls
We may offer trial or promotional access with additional conditions (for example, feature limits, quota limits, expiration windows). We may revoke trial or promotional access in cases of abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
11. Updates and Service Changes
We may modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time. We may also release patches, security updates, and compatibility changes.
12. Intellectual Property
The Services and all related content, software, design, marks, and documentation are owned by ReelMeld or its licensors and are protected by law.
Except for the limited license in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy:
https://www.reelmeld.com/privacy
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or error-free operation.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelMeld and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our aggregate liability for claims related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to ReelMeld for the Services in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if no payment was made), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReelMeld and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, present legal/security risk, or misuse the Services.
Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute-related sections.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ReelMeld operates, excluding conflict-of-law principles.
Dispute venue and procedures are determined by applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective on the stated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
